Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes. For over 85 years, the company's name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word "steak" stood for steakburger. The term "shake" stood for hand-dipped milkshakes. Gus was determined to serve his customers the finest burgers and shakes in the business. Today, Steak 'n Shake remains the "better burger" leader, serving premium 100% beef steakburgers, hand-dipped milkshakes, thin crispy fries, and more. Steakburgers are made without preservatives or artificial ingredients, topped with fresh produce, and always hand-crafted to order. Other classics include the Frisco Melt, 7x7, Prime Steakburgers, and fan favorite M&M milkshakes.

I love the shakes, thatâ€™s all I ever get but theyâ€™re absolutely great. That being said, I had only ever been to this location and I assumed the shakes just naturally took 20 minutes to make because they had been this way my whole life - I went out of state for college and other locations make/deliver a shake in 3 minutes - I was literally astonished. Itâ€™s one of those things you learn to put up with, since the service has always been slow - but apparently itâ€™s just this location. Great product, the system just needs to be adjusted.

Oder a Burger and shake on my lunch time frame work placed the order guy sounded like he hated his job bad customer service on top of that they tell us to pull up and whate for the food when he gives us the bag we leave thinking we have our food and I get to my job and they gave me 4 frenchfries and no burger I'm so mad now I can't eat lunch and I can't drive all the way back to get my burger

The best onion rings, bar none! Excellent batter, real onions ( none of that nasty reconstituted stuff ) & perfectly cooked. Chocolate Peppermint shakes are great, but sadly not always available. Warning- since they make to order- it's not quick! Free parking, wheelchair accessible.
